Whether your time on Twitter is for personal or business use, you will want to keep it an enjoyable one. free from spam, broadcasters who never listen, infrequent tweeters and abusive accounts. Now you can do it manually and there is nothing wrong with that, or your can use my favourite tool for cleaning up Twitter accounts, ManageFlitter. You can use it for free too if your patient!
Access to Manageflitter does not require payment details, and being a bit tight with cash, I love that. Simply connect using your Twitter account credentials. You can also use it with more than one account. Still without spending a penny – superb!
Once logged in you have access to many free features however, you are restricted to how many actions you can keep. This can be increased by following @ManageFlitter on Twitter and tweeting about using the service. Do it! it’s worth the extra actions if you have a large account.
Free features include Not Following Back, No Profile Image, Fake Following, Non-English, High Ratio, Inactive, Talkative, Quiet & Everyone you follow. Other feature are only available on the Pro Versions, of which there are four.
Personally I only use a handful of the features. Without a doubt the most useful is “Not Following Back”. It’s exact, easy to use and with the “fast select feature”, very easy to use.
Some advice for cleaning your Twitter account using “Not Following Back”. Always sort the order so that you are un-following the oldest accounts first. Twitter will get suspicious and suspend your account if you are following and un-following accounts within days. Trust me. I learnt that the hard way.
So that’s Manageflitter. A great tool for anyone wanting to keep their Twitter house in-order. Now go and play!
Give it a go and let me know what you think?
